On Monday, Sgt. Patrick Hildenbrand of New York pulled a man over for speeding, and found out quickly that the man's 2 year old son had just had a seizure, wasn't breathing, didn't have a pulse, and they were racing to the hospital! So Sgt. Hildenbrand told him to jump in the back of his police car, and he raced them to the hospital! He told the dad how to do CPR on his son, but the dad was panicing too much to follow his directions, so Sgt. Hildenbrand held the steering wheel with his left hand, reached into the backseat with his right hand and he started doing chest compressions while driving! The child started breathing again after they got to the hospital! Sgt. Hildenbrand says he just acted on instinct. He saved the boy's life!!! Thumbs up to this HERO!
